Okay ... Last annoyed post for today

Just some statistics that speak for themselves. But I have to ask, at what point do you say "Does this threaten me? Are these stereotypes and assumptions are going to get me killed?"

At some point you have to say, "how much hate can I take?" Even if these actions do NOT specifically harm me at this moment, is the act of not speaking up - is that tacit agreement that gays are horrible people not to be trusted?

At some point, you have to say"fuck it, I'm out." I have a husband who lives here and works often in Florida. In fact I am visiting Florida next week to see Lynn. I am not ready to be "all out" yet, but it grows closer and closer.

My choices are to leave, or to blindly go along with outlawing the choice to be trans, outlying a woman's body autonomy and now, the right to Freedom of the Press in Florida.

Yes, that is the Constitutional 1st Amendment Florida is outlawing.

Darker color means more laws proposed and passed.

I think I am staying to be with Ed. Or am I just to scared and wimpy to leave?

  1. The problem is a lot of this shit has a long history and is gaining traction under Trump's banner, and it's happening all over the world. There are people working very hard to fix it and a lot of people protesting everywhere. Leaving doesn't fix it; voting might.

    1. I don’t know. I’ve voted in every election since I was old enough. Voting doesn’t (seem) to work.
