A Catholic school in Massachusetts has been booted from being Catholic - cannot hold Mass or hold sacraments or call themselves Catholic. This has been done by the Wooster Mass Bishop.
Look I get the big no way for the Gay Pride flag. Catholics hate fags, no surprises no worries.
But the Black Lives Matter flag? Now both were specifically requested by the students to promote inclusion and let everyone know they are welcome. The Bishop does not believe everyone is welcome, again not a big surprises re: fags, but a big surprise regarding BLM.
Here is what Bishop White Face said:
McManus said the Pride flag is inconsistent with Catholic teaching because it "represents support of gay marriage and actively living a LGBTQ+ lifestyle," while the BLM movement "contradicts Catholic social teaching on the importance and role of the nuclear family."
"It is my sacred duty and inherent responsibility to determine when a school claiming to be 'Catholic' is acting in such a way that is contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church," McManus said.
Black Lives Matter contradicts the Catholic social teachings on the importance and role of the nuclear family? How? Just tell the truth "I, Bishop White Face, hate black people and do not believe their lives matter. Despite what Jesus says."
At least be honest.
That doesn't even make sense and he should be defrocked.
