Stuttering Mouse

I upgraded my Mac, actually Apple updated my Mac Mini overnight and for about a week now it has this tendency to stutter and freeze. So I haven't been posting much.

Nothings wrong, it's just been tough. But here are some thangs going on.

Rusty is getting alone well. Because of his small liver issue (Hepatic microvascular dysplasia) he is always going to be in a diaper, but it's cool.  What is weird is that he is a crazy dog. He is our only dog that doesn't (didn't) like the snuggle ball, so we got him a bed with a lip he can rest his head on. He does love that.

But since we put his old snuggle ball nearer to Eddie, he uses that too (he loves Eddie). But, as you can see from the picture, he is our ONLY dog ever that doesn't curl up. And he is quite long. He's crazy.

Our nest door store (say that 3 times quickly) stocks a very large selection of Asian food. Chinese, Japanese, Korean (see above) and Hawaiian. It is pretty posh and upscale for a corner market. I just noticed yesterday that not only do they carry spam, but they carry the Korean labelled version as well. Where it is "Premium Quality Luncheon Meat"!

There are lots of places to eat outside right now in New York (inside is at only 1/4 capacity), but this place in SoHo has the very coolest chairs outside EVER! Turns out they ad a patio before so they got a great deal on this amazing sets.

Outside at The Duke, where we ate the other day with a friend. Outside dining has been nice, albeit with a LOT of car noice nest to you, but I am not sure that this is sustainable when the cold weather comes. But Eddie and I did see a bunch of outdoor heaters (just like back home in LA) being delivered.

Finally - the lack of people, traffic and (too often) tenants has left many buildings and streets empty. In a lot of cases the landlords have taken this time - sadly after business are bankrupt - to spruce up the buildings. I have always like the building below, but now you can see the beautiful details.

Cyndi Lauper is on her (first) farewell tour. We went to see it because: 1. We love her songs and voice and her in general 2. She may not be...
