Goofiest Truck I've ever seen (and probably most expensive)

So this beast was at the Mercedes garage one day when we took Ed's car in for its scheduled maintenance.

6x6

This is the first time I have seen a 6x6. That is a 4x4 with two extra wheels in the back. It had diplomatic plates, and, I think, a Russian sticker, but I can't be sure. 

In any case, it should make it out of New York City in case anything less than an atomic blast occurs.

Crazy stupid, yes?, Imagine how much it must cost. It looks like a street legal upgrade of a military Mercedes Defender, which is a 6x6 upgrade from the normal military 4x4 Defender.
