There exists a community I did not know about, "Mammal Watchers."
They are like Bird Watchers or Plane Spotters, but with mammals. They mainly go to wild places to see mammals and post their stories about local places. In Pennsylvania a man was trying to spot flying squirrels - which he missed, but did spot bears in the wild.
