Want a great example of how screwed up our Congress is?
They voted to censure a Palestinian lawmaker who voted that Palestine should be free from the River to the Sea. That would be the River Jordon on the East Side of the West Bank to the Mediterranean Sea, were Gaza is. Now, you could say that calls for the destruction of Israel (as Hamas says). Or you could mean that the West Bank and Gaza should be free to live with Israel.
The censure is understandable - even to me.
But, at the same time, our Congress can't pull on their big girl panties to pass legislation that supports Israel without screwing something else up.
Like Republicans everywhere, they can complain, but they can seem to do shit about anything. And how could they? They only control 1/2 of the legislature of the most powerful country. You know, in my opinion.
