This week, Representative Jim Jordan issues subpoenas to major investment firms complaining that multiple companies committed to ESG policies - that is environmental, social and governance policies - could be breaking anti-trust laws. As they are all trying to de-carbonize.
Now contrast that with the news that June was the hottest month in recorded history - averaging world wide temperatures.
No wait, there is more. The week from June 28th to July 4th was the hottest week in history.
July 4th, 5th and 6th were the 3 hottest days ever recorded. EVER. I haven't seen the numbers on yesterday het, but we can assume it was not particularly cooler.
So, major investment firms are colluding about the environment the same way light bulb companies are colluding about darkness. The fact that Phillips, GE and Samsung are making light bulbs must mean they are colluding to make us think things are dark. Just like BlackRock, Vanguard, and State Street are colluding about heat.
