On the Isle of Wight, we visited The Osborne House. This is where Queen Victoria, Prince Alert and their 9 children and later a lot of grandchildren spent a lot of time. It is very different from most castles because it was built as a family home. There are lots of rooms for the family. Only 1 or 2 rooms for royal duties.
