Fox News, and the MAGA crowd, think the Barbie movie is too woke...

 Good Lord... Nin.com.poopery

The MAGE-verse is all in a tizzy over the Barbie movie. Let me repeat that so it sinks in. The Maga-verse is concerned about a fantasy movie of a child's doll!

I don't want you to have to shift through this shit, so I will gladly share the best parts.

1) This movie makes Barbie a feminist. Okay. This a movie about a doll that has 220 different careers at Mattel, include Astronaut Barbie, Scientist Barbie, Marine Biologist Barbie, Firefighter Barbie, and more. Kids she is already a feminist who can do anything.

2) Ken is a weak man waiting for door dash? Okay. Well Ken is a smooth molded boy doll designed for girls. I don't think moms want a "rapey" Ken, or "Ken the pajama boy waiting for Barbie to tell him what to do". Have this idiots never seen a Ken doll. If you want a boy doll that is tough get G I Joe or Action Man (the British rip off of Joe).

3) "They (the always evil "they") are using this movie to suggest "Daddy is a dummy or a domineering idiot"." Have they never seen a comedy? Daddy has been an idiot or domineering since the beginning of pictures. From their favorite eras (the 50s and 60s) tons of Oscar nominated Best Pictures have men as idiots or asshole. Jumping around we see:  Born Yesterday, Father of the Bride (1950 Best Pic nominees), Payton Place, Sayonara, Witness for the Prosecution (1957 Best Pic nominees), Dr. Strangelove ..., Mary Poppins, My Fair Lady (1964).

Bumbling or Domineering men are one of the tropes for movies since talkies.

Idiots. These are their giant issues. Well this and trans kids.

Not climate change. Not infrastructure. Not election safety. Not 1 out of every 5 children in poverty. Not the lowest female mortality rate in the developed world. Not the most expensive medical sector in the world - and still without health care for all.

Dolls. 64 year old dolls with no reproductive bits.
