Daily Stoic: The Big Three

It often seems to me that Stoic philosophy is centered around learning to let go of things that are unimportant. But what does the philosophy say about what is important. That is today's meditation.

All you need are these: certainty of judgement in the present moment; action for the common good in the present moment; and an attitude of gratitude in the present moment for anything that comes your way.

Marcus Aurelius

Stoicism isn't just about what not to focus on, but also what to focus on. And the purpose of our lives is to be thankful in the moment, and strive to do what is best for the common good.

I like that.

These are the UN 17 goals for Sustainable Development

These goals defined by the UN are how they work with various organizations within a framework of development that prioritizes people. the work we did at Project 1948 was identified primarily with Goal 16 Peace and Justice and also touched Goal 4 Quality Education
