Note: This is how the daily stoic translates this meditation. You can see there is another translation, but it triggers the same response and meditation. Perhaps too spot on today, I don't know. I am getting ready on Nov 8th because he is speaking in New Hampshire tomorrow and we are leaving soon.
Anyway, what this meditation asks me to think about is that we have to accept what changes, and respond to that. Not to what we wish it was.
Again, I hope it isn't too spot on today.
