If you need a job, but have no experience, no college degree but still want to teach, you are out of luck in 49 states. BUT if you are 18, breathing and are enrolled in (but not near graduation), you can be a teacher in Arizona.
True, they have one of the lowest teacher salaries in the nation. (~$22.50 per hour).
True, they just signed a school voucher program that starves public schools.
And true, that voucher law lets the students (public, private, religious, home schooling, etc) get the same amount of money - which may easily drop the already low salaries.
But hey, you only have to be 18 and enrolled in night classes at the college and you are good to teach high school, where you ex-classmates are still attending. Of course you don't have the qualifications to be a beautician, contractor, uber driver, park ranger of a host of other jobs
But then, who gives a shit about kids?
