I am still impressed by Fall

The Angelino in me still is impressed by fall colors.

I still don't like the cold. But I do understand why people love colors and the cool. The summer is humid here. The winter is cold. The seasons here make the subtle seasons in California look pale. (But the summer and winter here make LA seem like paradise.)

Anywho, I drove up to Massachusetts yesterday and the colors were out. It was grand, pookie, really grand.

I still miss the purple of Jacarandas in the sun. I still miss the ocotillo during the blooms. I still miss the subtlety of Southern California seasons. Like a secret only a few people understand.

But, boy, I do like fall here.
