One of the key reasons we went to the Wave Hill Gardens was to see the Alpine Section of the Gardens. I love an Alpine Garden and this has one of the better ones in New York area. Some pictures:
They are planting some flowers in an already built wall. So they cannot build a rockery. |
A rockery or flowers in crevices are very "alpine" and mimic growth on mountains were the crevices collect soil and tend to thaw a bit earlier than other places. |
