Fast Rising Fascist Star: Madison Cawthorn

The next Trump wannabes are standing in front of us. I am not too worried about the Tom Cotton, Josh Hawley and Ted Cruzes of the world. They are obvious, smarmy and want to run the mob without being of the mob.But I am deeply worried about Madison Cawthorn. 

Madison is the young, handsome and disabled face of Fascism that is coming. He is photogenic, well-spoken and a true believer.

Young Representative Cawthorn has never attended public school. So he's never mixed with people that are not white fanatics like him. Despite the obvious calls he makes to the military, Rep. Cawthorn was NOT injured in war. He was never in the military. The closest he got was being rejected by the Naval Academy. That isn't bad, but he does play dress-up barbie in military style clothes to give the right impression.

He was home schooled until college, where he failed out of Patrick Henry University, private liberal arts Christian college his first quarter. He never finished college, which isn't bad persay, but at least college would have exposed him to a few people that don't think exactly like him.

He was disabled in a car accident during Spring Break (from home-schooling, which I am not sure I understand) when his friend fell asleep at the wheel and crashed the car. I credit young Mr. Cawthron with not letting his disability keep him from his dreams. Including visiting Hitler's vacation home.

Yes, he completes a bucket list life goal when he got to travel to the Füher's vacation spot, the Eagle's Nest. And yes, when he posted his trip on instagram he used the term Füher - an honorific for leader. Not Hitler or killer or Nazi, but the loving term of adornment. Again, since he didn't attend a school, we have to take his word that he "didn't know the term was hurtful."

During the rally before the insurrection he riled up the crowd with these words;

Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) last month urged the crowd at a conservative gathering to “lightly threaten” lawmakers ahead of the certification of the presidential election results. 

Cawthorn, speaking at a Turning Point USA event on Dec. 21, said he would help raise money for primary challengers to Republicans who don’t join the right-wing effort the subvert the will of the voters. 

According to The Charlotte Observer, he told the crowd:  

“Call your congressman and feel free, you can lightly threaten them and say, you know what, if you don’t start supporting election integrity, I’m coming after you, Madison Cawthorn is coming after you, everybody’s coming after you.”  

The comments are drawing renewed attention after last week’s deadly violence as supporters of President Donald Trump attacked the U.S. Capitol in an attempt to stop Congress from certifying President-elect Joe Biden’s victory.  

The freshman lawmaker also spoke at the rally that preceded the attack, where he denounced his House colleagues as “cowards,” lied about the election results and declared: “Wow, this crowd has some fight in it” shortly before the mob engaged in actual fighting at the Capitol. 

He is still the Representative from North Carolina. And yes, America, we are all fucked.
