"No One" could have guessed how this would turn out!

 Let's try a simple thought experiment. Let's say someone idolized you, a little brother or sister - may an impressionable best friend. And, every day - many times a day, you complained about the horrible neighbor of yours. For days, for weeks. This horrible neighbor terrorized you, hurt your feelings maybe threatened your family.

Your impressionable young friend would hate that neighbor. And, when the kid threw an egg on the house, you laughed and told them what a GREAT JOB! they did.  And then when they threw a rock that busted a window - you blamed the neighbor.

If you are this self-unaware, then you can be President too!

In America, in 2020*, a group of 7 to 15 people (all disgruntled white men with gigantic guns, but you could guess that) decided that that bitch, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer - a Democrat, should be taught a lesson. After all, she was a Democrat that tried to prevent the spread of Covid-19 by issuing a temporary mask order - the fascist! Did they mention she was a Democrat! And, these guys had been encouraged by President Donald Trump to "LIBERATE MICHIGAN" (caps his on his tweet). AND, the Police gave these same guys a wink and a nod when they brought their semi-automatic rifles INTO the state capital and ended a legislative session. So who is surprised they tried to take it a step further and actually USE those guns? (full, terrifying story) 

So, they decided to:

1. Create a special club of hate, under a trap door and a rug (really!)- just like on TV!
2. Blow up a state building to draw the police away from the Governor residence
3. Then kidnap the elected Governor of Michigan (while the police are at a diversion)
4. Take her across state lines to a secret holding area in Wisconsin (home of cheese)
5. Put her on a public trail (i.e. broadcast it, not "public" like a jury)
6. Execute her
7. While this was taking attention, take over the state of Michigan (or LIBERATE MICHIGAN in the President's words).

This actual working plot only failed because in between 1 and 2, they had to buy a bunch of explosives, and the idea of big booms made them so hard they had to share this data and the feds found out.

Now imagine you are the President, high as hell on steroids, and you found out about this plan, at least partially encouraged by your own words. A reasonable man would denounce this, say he never meant that and call for calm.

Or, in President Trump's case, blame the Governor and side with the White Fascist Militia (which is what we call terrorism when white Americans do it).

*I have to laugh at myself, because I put 2020 like, "can you believe in this day and age we still have these nutzos", but now I realize that 2020 is the year anything can happen. Anything bad and almost nothing good. Mercury is in retrograde through the election.
