Covered Bridges in Vermont

In our Vermont trip, the same day Eddie and I traveled to Montpelier, we also stopped by a couple of covered bridges. They were very cool.

This is the oldest Covered Bridge in Vermont, still in use. It is from the 1833 (wikipedia site)

You can see the old trusses alongside the new pedestrian part of the bridge



From downstream

It is call the Big Eddy Bridge because when the river is high, the curve makes a very large eddy in the current.
