Before that, let me say "Overcompensating" is great. Sure it is about Bento, a gay high school jock trying to pass as a straight freshman in college, but it is about so much more. And for those of us who questioned ourselves in college, either about being gay, or cute enough, or blonde enough, or sexual enough - which is all of us, it is hilarious.
Bento's older sister, who is annoyed with him coming to her school in the first place, has a much more real hate/love relationship with her brother than Monica and Ross ever did. Bento dates a woman, which ends badly, but they become friends. And she gets storylines of her own. His sister's boyfriend is a big deal on campus, who has to deal with the fact that his big deal years are almost over.
There is no big gay kiss and gayly ever after at the end where he gets a boy. It is just a fun take on college (granted, played by 30 year olds).
But the movies we have watched have been problematic. Without giving anything away, they are great movies that suddenly seem to lose momentum as they progress.

Jackass Tech Bros congratulate themselves. But it is worth it because I LOVE Cory Michael Smith (far left) from Broadway. |

An exciting British show that did not stick the landing. |
I'm not saying they aren't worth your time. I liked them, but they did bungle the endings.
