Living in an area where we can watch LA TV is a little scary. The Los Angeles protests were initially peaceful and disruptive, but not violent, before the President activated 2,000 National Guard troops. The guards don't have a place to sleep or food but that is because no feds thought of that before our president decided to make a big show of it all on a whim.
Yesterday, he sent 2,000 more guards and 700 Active Duty Marines. The CA National Guard, having been federalized by the Feds, is scary. The 700 Active Duty Marines deployed is both terrifying and illegal. Well, unConstitutional and illegal.

I am afraid to continue this a bit.
And so, no more political comments. I will likely continue posting things I find fascinating or amusing. But my day to day fear will have to take a back seat to getting in and out of the country.
I mean this will keep me sane and take me off the doom-scrolling chain.
So.. how was your week-end?
