Greg Tarzan Davis - that's a name!

 I was reading about the new Mission Impossible movie. One of the stars is Greg Tarzan Davis. That is a great name.

Now, you might think that it is weird that he goes by this name. Or pretentious. Or something.

Here is the issue with names in Hollywood: Once an actor registers with a stage name, no one else can use it. Well, until they pass away. 

There already is an actor named Greg Davis, so the newer actor has to to take a stage name or add his middle name. Hence, Greg Tarzan Davis.
