Sometimes the news is great, and sometimes the news kind of sucks.
This is the latter.
There are very rare and endangered monkeys in Vietnam, the Tonkin Snub-nosed Monkeys. I have never heard of them, but there are lots of Southeast Asian animals I have not. They do not get much attention and are not critical to the economy or culture of Vietnam, the only place they are found. Unfortunately, they are located in two locations in Vietnam in their natural habitat. Those places, like unspoiled places worldwide, are threatened by human expansion.
And now, only found in one place after an exhaustive study of the regions.
