Well, it seems that Americans cannot learn. In the last month, 4 different American tourists were caught with ammunition in their luggage in Turks and Caicos. This is illegal and the state is prosecuting them. The Governors of the states where the tourists were from have petitioned Turks to be easy on them, they did it unwittingly.
That argument is weakened by the arrest of a 5th tourist just 3 days ago.
I don't think some Americans understand the force with which other countries look at our gun obsession as crazy and dangerous.
