My choice for the first post today was a choice between the holocaust denying governor nominee in North Carolina. He also thinks women shouldn't have gotten the vote, LGBT people are demons, and trans people shouldn't use either bathroom but "go outside like the animals they are."
Which, let's face it, is a bit of a downer.

I could go with good news.
The disastrous breeding season up to and including 2021 made the case that climate change would decimate the birds. Perhaps 2022 and 2023 were blips and exceptions. Or maybe Puffins are changing (evolving) like other species to deal with climate change. In any case, this is great news.
Also, how do those birds hold so many little fish in their beaks? They cannot have grabbed them all in 1 go.
