It is up to 95 or 100 F in the South American Andes. Breaking all kinds of high temperature records. Which doesn't sound all that bad until you realize it is WINTER in South America. The temperatures they are having are worse than the "super hot" Mediterranean countries.
Climate Change is picking up steam (pun intended).
Note that those "higher than average" temps are in Celsius. That means the the 16 degrees high that normal in the Andes is actually 29 degrees Higher in F. 29 degrees above normal in Winter!
