I am not sure your right here. I am speaking of the leaders of these religious institutions. I didn't say jewish people, for example, only Orthodox Jewish people actively hate us. The Proud Boys all hate us. Most Catholics don't hate gays, per say. But the Catholic hierarchy does condemn us to hell.
ReplyDeleteThe LEADERS of these organizations hate us as a group. The leaders condemn us. Many many large Christian church leaders do as well. The Mormon Church actively fights against any rights for us, including the right to assemble in their (Federally Supported) schools and universities. The Southern Baptist denomination condemns us yearly at their conference. Muslim Imans denounce us. Anglican leaders in Africa pass laws to literally kill us (usually by stoning). And many well meaning and non-hateful people sit there in the pews and let them talk about how terrible we are.
Hell even I didn't say anything at my father's service. I sat there and let them berate me because I didn't want to cause problems for Zela.
I close to done being nice about it.
