One of the coolest renovations I've seen has just won an award for, what else, best renovation.
The building originally housed the Olympic Velodrome for the Montreal Olympics. Which is the cycling arena. This appears to be the long track venue and the repurposing is for the Bio-Dome Science Museum. It is very cool.
