If you've been to San Diego, you probably went to La Jolla cove and watched the Sea Lions. In the summer Sea Lions (on the far side of the cove) semi-willingly share the beach with swimmers.
But don't fuck with them or get too close to take a picture else this happens (and the CNN folks cannot stop laughing).
