Buildings at the Bronx Zoo

I took a trip to the Bronx zoo, and the buildings  date from 1899 or the early 1900s.  They built some very cool buildings. Although there are barely used now (the buildings don't have a lot of room).

The elephant house is very cool . The builders could not decide on the sculptor for the house. So they decided to put Asian Elephants on one side and African Elephants on the other side.

These were images from the lion house. The lions were moved outside and the building repurposed as administration.

And finally, the gorgeous fountain in the (old) front. (Now the old front is parking for admin).
