How The Heck Did I Miss The Landromat

Last night Ed and I watched The Laundromat. How did I miss this before? It is a fascinating look at high finance and how it screws the little person over (the little persons in this case being Meryl Streep, James Cromwell, and us). It is funny, sad, bright and goofy. I kind of loved it.

It is directed by, and very much in the style of, Stephen Soderbergh - Ocean's 11, Ocean's 8, Erin Brokovitch, and many others. It is bright, just this side of campy. The kind-of bad guys are Gary Oldman and Antonio Banderas. Really, it is all over the place, but fun. And based on true events.

Look at this cast!
