Yikes...
It seems to me, that it is one thing to support your President when he makes a stupid mistake. Like pretending that when he tweeted cofevette he didn't really misspell coffee. Or when he receives foreign help in getting elected, but you don't want to hurt his feelings - like say Russia. Or you might support him when he illegally extorted Ukraine for publicity.
But are you going to support his insane war in Iran because Fox News images made him mad? And, do American soldiers have to die because you Republicans don't have the balls to say no.
(From On Tyranny) 2. Defend institutions. It is institutions that help us to preserve decency. They need our help as well. Do not speak of "our institutions" unless you make them yours by acting on their behalf. Institutions do not protect themselves. They fall one after the other unless each is defended from the beginning. So choose an institution you care about -- a court, a newspaper, a law, a labor union -- and take its side.
